I bumped into Stacy Lill at Bin on the Lake on Thursday and O Wines came up in the conversation. O Wines will be releasing their highly anticipated red blend on January 1st, 2010. It’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, & Syrah. I’m a red blend fan and hope to get a taste soon. What a […]

Greg Lill certainly picked a good day for his big birthday. What a party! The sun was out when I arrived at Chateau Ste. Michelle for the Auction of Washington Wines Picnic to benefit Children’s Hospital and then the weather changed. The dark clouds rolled in and it started to sprinkle and people mostly seemed undisturbed. It […]

I was trading emails with Kathy Johanson of O Wines on Wednesday morning and the subject of red wine came up. She told me that their red blend will probably be released in August and it will be a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah blend. They will do a final tasting in the next two […]

Bookwalter, Betz, DeLille Cellars, […]

For the first time, I attended Taste Washington. There were over two hundred wineries under one roof. There were also sixty restaurants. I’m not sure how many of the wineries and restaurants I tasted the wine or food but you have got to pace yourself to enjoy Taste Washington. Tweet This Post

Well, my feet still hurt from all the walking that I did on Sunday afternoon at the NW Women’s Show. I think I ended up with about 17 pounds of cat food, Slim Fast bars, vitamins, lotions, shampoos, and various other trinkets. I started and ended my day in the wine tasting area which I […]

I was at a One Year Celebration for O Wines at DeLille Cellars on Wednesday night. Stacy Lill and Kathy Johanson, the founders of O Wines, were on hand to celebrate with many of their volunteers. O Wines donates 5% of every bottle to fund scholarships for low income, high potential girls in the Northwest. […]

I had an advanced taste of the 2007 O Wines Chardonnay this week. I thought the 2006 Chardonnay from Horse Heaven Hills was good but the 2007 from Yakima Valley was amazing. It should be on the way to stores and you should see it by January. I also hear that they are going to be […]
