I just finished reading an article in the October Seattle Magazine about Grand Reve Vintners, which is located in Kirkland. They have teamed up with some of our local Woodinville winemakers; Chris Gorman of Gorman Winery, Mark McNeilly of Mark Ryan, and Ross Mickel of Ross Andrew Winery.

I just stopped by Ross Andrew and Mark Ryan’s tasting rooms this afternoon. They are now open for business. Their official hours starting next week will be Thursday through Sunday 12-5.

I hear through Woodinville Wine Country that Ross Andrew Winery will be opening up their tasting room the week of June 8th. The new tasting room is located behind the Hollywood Schoolhouse. They will be open Thursday through Sunday.

I received some information from John Bigelow at JM Cellars on the upcoming Woodinville Winemakers & Brew Master Triathlon. The event will be Wednesday, July 22 beginning at 5:00pm. Char gave us a bottle from this small Woodinville producer. For a change the wine is not named after the winemaker or owner’s children. Ross Andrew Mickel is the winemaker. Ross trained at DeLille and Betz and the pedigree shows through …
