Winemaker Chris Upchurch was pouring his wines and talking about DeLille Cellars, its wines, and that they have been in business 17 years. I really can’t decide if I like the D2 or Harrison Hills the best. Such a problem, I will […]

I met up with some friends on Sunday afternoon at the Grape Choice in Kirkland. It was a perfect afternoon to sit outside on the Grape Choice patio and drink some wine and chat with some friends. It was a fabulous spring day to taste the wines […]

Day two of serious wine tasting started off with a wine pickup at Brian Carter Cellars. My friend, Laurie, decided we should do a tasting since we were picking up her wine club selection. Cheryl told us to head out to the patio and she would pour out tastes outside. The mountain was out and […]

I stopped by the Grand Opening at Gard Vintners on Saturday. It was a gorgeous day to be out and about with a bonus of tasting wine.  It was a packed house and everyone was having a great time with the wine. I tasted through about 15 wines from Alma Terra, Gard, and Smasne Cellars. […]

I got talked into going to the Sparkman release on Friday night. It was on my “to do” list for Saturday. It was a release and coronation for Sparkman Cellars 2006 Kingpin Cabernet Sauvignon from Red Mountain. It’s 95% Cab, 4% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot giving it rich flavor with a long finish. I […]
