I found an article on line by Paul Gregutt in the Seattle Times about Washington wineries are following the increasing demand for more eco-friendly wines. Consumers are looking for organic and sustainable agricultural practices from wineries. They are also looking for lighter bottles or boxed wines that are more environmentally friendly. I spoke with Pepper Bridge Winery winemaker, Jean-Francois Pellet, at Taste Washington on Sunday. He told me that they were hoping for a June 1st opening for their tasting room in Woodinville. They will be located next door to Ross Andrew in the Hollywood Schoolhouse complex. Tweet This Post
