Hestia Cellars: Reopening Their Tasting Room

by Shona Milne on September 30, 2011

Hestia Cellars closed their doors earlier this because they ran out of wine. It’s a good news bad news problem. The good news is that your wine is popular but the bad news is that people can’t come visit you and taste the wine. As of this weekend Hestia is reopening their doors back up to the public just in time for harvest and some fall releases.

Hestia spent their summer moving the winery from Carnation to Woodinville and working with several new distributors. They were recently featured by Harvey Steiman in his Wine Spectator blog where he awarded the 2008 Syrah and 2008 Malbec with 92 points and the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon with 90 points.

They will be releasing their highly anticipated 2009 Merlot and 2009 Malbec which they produced approximately 200 cases of each in October.
The Cellar Door tasting room will be open Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 5pm. They are also adding a new big screen in the back, and a foosball table on the side, you won’t find a more exciting place to visit in Woodinville.
