Wine Getaway: Tefft Cellars Guest House

I spent the weekend out at the Tefft Cellars Outlook Guest House the other week. It’s a fabulous place and I didn’t want to leave to come back over the mountains to Seattle. The house has three bedrooms all with their own bathroom. It also has a full kitchen, living and dining room. The best part for me was the deck. It’s the perfect place to sit and watch the grapes grow after a day out wine tasting. You look right onto the vineyards. One perk is that you are also about 20 steps from the Tefft Cellars Tasting Room which is always handy when you run out of chilled Rose on the patio. The Guest House is located in Outlook which puts you right in Rattlesnake Hills area, you are also close to Prosser, and Red Mountain is not far off. You can hit quite a few wineries in the area and then come back and drink some of your wine out on the patio and relax. I definitely want to come back to this spot soon. There is still plenty of summer left and I think it would be wonderful to visit in fall also.
