Every once in awhile on a Wednesday evening Chef Bobby Moore does a cooking demonstration at Fireside Cellars at Willows Lodge. I was at the one last Wednesday where he made Butternut Squash Soup and Duck Confit. His demo is usually right in the middle of Happy Hour so I sipped on a glass of Chateau Ste. Michelle Orphelin wine while Bobby cooked for us. The soup was rich and delicious with the Duck Confit as a garnish. I might give the Butternut Squash soup a try in my kitchen, but I really enjoy going down there and having it made for me. Check out the Fireside Cellars Calendar for upcoming classes.
