I met up with some friends on Sunday afternoon at the Grape Choice in Kirkland. It was a perfect afternoon to sit outside on the Grape Choice patio and drink some wine and chat with some friends. I love sitting outside close to Lake Washington. Many of the patrons bring their dogs with them as the patio is dog friendly. You get to watch the world go past if you sit there long enough. I also had the pleasure of meeting Alex Corcoran, Publisher of Edible Seattle magazine. There is an interesting article “Riveting Rose'” which mentions Five under $20 Washington Rose’s. I’m finding quite a few local rose’s to drink right now.
Some of us moved on to Trellis Restaurant at the Heathman Hotel. Yes, again to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. We ordered a bottle of Cedergreen Cellars Chenin Blanc which paired with all of our food.

Cedergreen is a great line. I have enjoyed all of their wines. Isn’t the weather great, when you can sit outside?
