Village Wines: Spring has Sprung

village-winesIt was a nice spring evening and I decided to stop in at Village Wines for the Friday winemaker tasting. It was Stephenson Cellars & Otis Kenyon Wines last night. Dave Stephenson is the winemaker for both wineries and was in attendance answering questions and talking about the wines. I did love the 2005 Stephenson Merlot (aka A Merlot for Cab Lovers). Great structure and a very powerful wine. What I really love about Village Wines is the community and how may friendships I personally have made over the last few years. I always know someone when I walk in.  It is “A Place to Gather” in Woodinville.
