I received the following email from DiStefano Winery. I had heard some rumors that they were closing or moving and now I now have confirmation.
To our wine family and friends, we wanted to give you an update on our wines and the winery. With the changing dynamics in Woodinville and with so many wineries now tasting great wines, we have decided to relocate our winery closer to other wineries in the Woodinville Wine Warehouse District. At the end of this month we will be moving from our present location, and home for the last thirteen years. This weekend will be the last weekend that you can taste and enjoy wines from our present location. To celebrate we will be offering 15% off all of our wines this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to five.
I would also like to add that we are now in final negotiations on a great new spot in the Wine Warehouse District, and hope to have it licensed and operational by mid-April. In our new spot we will continue to make great wine, be open for tasting and will continue to host events like Music on the Deck, the Art of Blending, our famous Cigar Dinners and more. There will be no interruption in our Wine Club shipments, and we are looking forward to releasing new wines in the upcoming wine club offerings.
It is a little sad to say goodbye to a place, where we have made some great wines over the years, met so many wonderful people, enjoyed so many dinners and held such great events, but at the same time we are excited to be moving to a new place, and moving into a new chapter in our lives. Thanks to all of you who have made this so much fun! We will keep you posted on all the news via our newsletter and our website.
Respectfully,
Donna DiStefano and Mark Newton
