DETAILS:
“Experience Woodinville” will be held on the beautiful grounds of Willows Lodge on Sunday, June 26 from 5 – 9 p.m. It will be a relaxed, early evening showcase of all that Woodinville Wine Country has to offer with stations hosted by many of its wineries, restaurants, distilleries, breweries and food and craft artisans. New this year will be a Beer Garden near the Barking Frog Mobile Kitchen food truck. Live music will be provided by New Age Flamenco.
As a tribute to the popular Iron Vintner Challenge, which took place at Willows for five consecutive years and raised close to $200,000 for Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, the event will feature “quick fire” cooking challenges, hosted by Barking Frog Chef Bobby Moore, in which local winemakers and their assigned chef partners duke it out in front of a panel of celebrity/foodie judges.
Confirmed celebrity judges are Seahawks GM John Schneider and wife Traci, as well as Damon Huard and wife Julie. Also participating will be former Mariner John Olerud and wife Kelly (who are also Little Bit parents).
The ticket cost for Experience Woodinville is $75 per person and includes 8 tastes and food bites at each station, as well as a commemorative wine glass and an evening of live music. A portion of the ticket sales and the proceeds of a Silent Auction during the event will go to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center.
