New Edition of Woodinville Wine Country Magazine Offers Touring Ideas and Planning Tips for Visiting this Summer or Fall

First-time visitors to Woodinville Wine Country as well as tasting room regulars will find plenty of new ideas for exploring Washington wineries this summer and fall in the newly released edition of Woodinville Wine Country magazine, available free of charge at area wineries, Western Washington hotels or by request from Woodinville Wine Country.

Located just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, Woodinville is home to 109 wineries and tasting rooms. In addition to a dizzying array of award-winning wines, the area offers visitors a variety of wine-centric dining options, outdoor patios and gardens and a burgeoning music scene.  All these activities, as well as articles exploring Woodinville’s expanding role in agritourism and rich rural history, are detailed in the summer/fall 2014 issue of the magazine.

This glossy, four-color visitor guide offers informative articles by top journalists including music expert Gene Stout and Northwest food and wine writers Shannon Borg, Sonja Groset, Leslie Kelly, Shannon Michael, Cynthia Nims, Jamie Peha and Clive Pursehouse.  To help visitors with trip planning, the magazine also includes detailed maps of Woodinville’s three distinct tasting destinations: Hollywood, Warehouse and West Valley Wine Districts.  The magazine also contains a dining guide and directory of winery and affiliate members.

“Woodinville is an incredible showcase for the quality and diversity of Washington wines, all within easy access of the city,” says Woodinville Wine Country director Sandra Lee.  “We are excited to share this magazine with the public because it underscores the range of dining and entertainment opportunities the area offers as well as unique tasting experiences.”
