You may have noticed a new sign for Ambassador Wines of Washington across the parking lot from Sparkman Cellars in the Warehouse District. Their 3 estate vineyards, managed by Dick Boushey, are located in Benton City on Red Mountain and they decided that it was a good time to come over the mountains to Woodinville. They expect to open the tasting room and a few weeks.
Ambassador Vineyard was founded on the simple belief that no other experience is quite as enchanting as drinking wine.
The founders, including Jeff Smyth, StevenPetersen, and George Kargianis, are an eclectic group of individuals with diverse professional backgrounds, their lives and friendships have been forever altered by the shared experience of creating and drinking what they believe to be a fantastic wine. Ambassador’s vision is to become the top estate producing winery on Washington state’s Red Mountain. They have Dick Boushey as their vineyard manager to help attain this goal.
