Guests invited to Thanksgiving dinner and buffet at Portals Restaurant and the Gas Lamp Grill
Roslyn, Wash. – (November 6, 2013) – Guests are invited to celebrate this year’s harvest season at Suncadia, Washington state’s premier all-season resort located 80 miles east of Seattle. On Thanksgiving Day, guests can indulge themselves in a family-style Thanksgiving feast in Portals and a festive buffet by Gas Lamp Grill at The Inn during their “close enough, but far from home,” holiday getaway.

Portals Restaurant offers a four-course, family-style Thanksgiving menu that showcases the flavors of fall, including:
First course
Lodge clam chowder, house recipe
Second Course
Warm goat cheese cake with pomegranate, arugula and citrus
Third Course
Roasted turkey with traditional gravy
Classic sage stuffing
Roasted root vegetable medleyMom’s green bean and bacon casserole
Creamy garlic mashed Yukon Gold potatoes
Fourth Course
Apple or pumpkin pie with homemade spice whipped cream
A vegetarian entrée is available for substitution, which offers polenta cake with roasted eggplant, oven-dried tomatoes, grilled squash and pesto. The Portals Thanksgiving menu is available for $48 per person for adults, $18 for children ages four to 12 and free for children ages three and younger.
Guests can also enjoy a Thanksgiving buffet at The Gas Lamp Grill at The Inn. The menu offers:

Wild grain salad with cranberries and scallions
Harvest field greens with pears and Oregonzola
Roasted beets with goat cheese and hazelnuts
Arugula with citrus and pomegranate
Fresh fruit and berry display
Roasted turkey with traditional gravy
Smoked fillet of salmon with Granny Smith apple chutney
Hand carved strip loin with red wine jus
Penne with prosciutto, roasted butternut squash and pepitos in a sage cream sauce

Mom’s green bean and bacon casserole
Brown sugar glazed sweet potato
Creamy garlic mashed Yukon gold potatoes
Assorted dinner rolls
Assorted desserts (apple pie, pumpkin pie, bread pudding, pecan pie, chocolate torte and pumpkin cheesecake)
The Thanksgiving buffet will be served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is available for $48 per person for adults, $18 for children ages four to 12 and free for children ages three and younger.
To make guests feel right at home on their getaway, Suncadia is offering a special Thanksgiving rate for guests who arrive on Wednesday, November 27th or Thursday, November 28th and stay until Sunday, December 1st. The promotion offers guests half off the regular rate on Saturday, November 29th with full rates on other nights of their stay at The Lodge at Suncadia or Trailhead Condominiums. Rates start at $200.
