From an article by Andy Perdue of Wine Press Northwest for the Tri-City Herald is the story of our 13th AVA for Washington State. Most of the wine coming out of the area, which is a cooler AVA, will be Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and other white varietals.
