I had the opportunity to attend the Tefft Cellars Smokin’ Hot Firemen wine club launch at Snoqualmie Casino on May 12th. Part of the fun that evening was 19 hot, hot, hot firemen from around the area competing for votes from the audience to become one of the labels for future releases on the Smokin’ Hot wines series from Tefft Cellars. They even had Gretchen Rossi of Real Housewives of Orange County as the MC for the evening. Ladies, these wines help Firefighter’s Lifeline Foundation which is recently formed charity organization which helps raise funds for a number of local and national charities as well as provide financial assistance to families in need within the State of Washington.
On Friday, June 29th 6-9pm is the first release party of the Smokin’ Hot wines at Wine World & Spirits in Seattle. Meet the firefighters who were selected for this year’s labels!
When you sign up for the Firefighter Wine Club you will receive all the new labels as they are released. Each quarter you receive three bottles of Smokin’ Hot wines. Some of the benefits include a 10% discount off of the featured wines, the first opportunity to buy limited edition wines, and the best benefit is that you receive invitations to attend Tefft Cellars private Firefighter’s release parties. Firemen included!
The Smokin’ Hot red is a blend of Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Smokin’ Hot white is a blend of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling. I’m looking forward to tasting these wines almost as much as I am to seeing the firemen again.
