Taste Washington: March is Washington Wine Month

by Shona Milne on March 4, 2012

March is Washington Wine Month and on March 31st and April 1st is Taste Washington. It’s been expanded to two day this year. Let’s hope that’s a sign that the economy is improving and that more Washington wine is being consumed. If you are interested in the seminars being offered you should get your tickets sooner that later as these sell out fast. I hope to see you there.

Enhance your Taste Washington experience. Seminars take place both Saturday and Sunday at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Seminar descriptions and ticket information are available on tastewashington.org.

Seating is limited for this amazing line-up, so be sure to reserve your seat early! Click here to register.

Seminars include:
• Washington Wine: Over-Delivering at Every Price
• Vineyard Exploration: Red Willow Vineyard
• Canlis: Food and Wine Pairing
• Mythbusting: Food and Wine Pairing with Tom Douglas
• Vineyard Exploration: Ciel du Cheval Vineyard
• Celebrated Vintages: Highlights from a Quarter-Century of Washington State Wines

Taste Washington will feature more than 60 local restaurants showcasing the culinary talents of their chefs. Partake in a bevy of savory dishes including Dungeness crab cakes, smoked pork belly and fried chicken roulade with bacon mousse. Sample from local cheese purveyors and gourmet sausage companies. Round out your tasting experience by sipping on a handcrafted espresso beverage or sweet Washington dessert wine paired with sinfully delicious cupcakes, chocolate and other sweet treats.
