Grand Reve: New Name

I received an email on Thursday that Grand Reve was changing its name. Grand Reve was Paul’s ‘Great Dream’ but it seems a California winery with quite a few lawyers on the payroll challenged the right to use Reve in the name. They decided to not waste time with a long and expensive fight and Grand Reve will now be known at Force Majeure, which means ‘superior force’. The wines will still be great but with a new name.
