I was going through my usual pile of emails when I came upon one from Irlandes Limited Reserve Winery. I had not read it very carefully the first time and did not see the Red Wine Brownie recipe, my mistake. I just made this recipe last night and it is delicioius. Thank you and Merry Christmas Irlandes.
RED WINE BROWNIES
3/4 cup cocoa 1/2 tsp baking soda 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup boiling Irlandes red wine 1 cup sugar 1 cup light brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 1/4 cup flour 1 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp saltPreheat oven to 350. Stir cocoa and soda together. Blend in oil and add wine. Stir until mixture thickens. Add sugar and eggs, stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt. Blend completely. Pour into lightly greased 13″x9″ pan. Bake approximately 30 minutes. Serve warm with a glass of remaining Irlandes wine!

Great presentation
I did receive that recipe
and really thought it was
a good one. We need more
recipes with wine to honor
the wine country we live in.
Job well done by the local
Wine Diva. Hey maybe a
fun t-shirt with a Wine Diva
recipe???

Thank you. I only learn from the best; Chef Missy Will. Yes, we do need more recipes with wine in them. I also have a recipe for Bourbon Bacon Brownies that I need to try. I’ll be on the lookout for more recipes.
