On the Road to Paradise

(Ashford, WA) The new tradition continues. After Ashford’s very successful First Annual Spring Wine Tasting event last May, plan to attend the upcoming First Annual Fall Wine Tasting & Dance on November 6th.

Hard-to-find Artisanal Wines from small Washington producers will be featured and the wine makers themselves will be on hand to discuss their products.

– When: 2 – 9pm, Saturday November 6th
-Where: Ashford Lion’s Hall, 27726 Hwy 706 E, Ashford,WA
-Cost: $20; Complimentary with Lodging!
-Book Lodging: visit mt-rainier.com
-Further information: 1 (877) 617-9951 http://www.road-to-paradise.com

Some of the rising star Washington vintners you can meet as they pour their wine include:
• Flying Dreams Winery, Woodinville, WA. Vintner Leroy Radford
• Stina’s Cellars, University Place, WA. Vintners Perry & Penny Preston
• Small-Lot Co-op: small wineries from both Eastern and Western WA. Located in Woodinville, WA
• Well’s Winery, Onalaska, WA – specializing in natural fruit wine without added sulfites and sweetened with organic raw sugar.
• Scatter Creek Winery – Tenino, WA Winner of the Taste of the Market, Olympia 2010
Entertainment will include:
• Mike Saunders from Gig Harbor on acoustic guitar during the day
• Dance Lessons 6:00 – 6:30 PM
• Elbow County Rough Riders playing Jazz, Blues, Swing, Jitter Bug, Slow Dances, Waltz, and Classic Rock & Roll for the evening dance.

This is a great opportunity to stock up on wine as early holiday presents – plus to enjoy the Cascade’s fall colors – and even dance if you’d like.

Stay for the day and play or spend the night in Ashford. Ashford is just 6 miles from the main entrance into Mt Rainier National park, truly on the Road to Paradise.
– End –
