Gorman Winery: Wine Tasting this Weekend

I just received an email that Gorman Winery will be open this weekend for wine pick-ups and tastings on Saturday & Sunday, September 25th & 26th from noon-4pm. They are releasing six new wines and you can purchase The Big Sissy Chardonnay 2009, Zachary’s Ladder 2008, The Pixie Syrah 2008, The Evil Twin 2008,  The Albatross 2007, and Cry Baby Late Harvest Chenin Blanc 2009, now online. I’m looking forward to trying the Cry Baby as it’s the first dessert wine Chris has produced.

it is AMAZING! Wine Advocate rated it 92 but I think it’s quite a bit better than that.

I will, of course try everything but look forward to The Evil Twin, The Albatross, and the Cry Baby. I’ll let you know what I think about the Cry Baby after I taste. Had the Evil Twin and The Albatross out of the barrel a while ago. Anxiously awaiting this weekend.
