Homeward Pet: Yappy Hour with a Purpose

You know I love to mix a glass of wine or a cocktail with a good cause. I think all dog owners out there should put your best paw forward and check out Yappy Hour at the Hotel Monaco on Thursday, July 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30. A portion of the proceeds go to my favorite animal charity, Homeward Pet, the largest no kill animal shelter in Washington, which is located here in Woodinville. You can get your tickets through Animal Fair.

Based on this blog and the link, we discovered Homeward Pet. Today we adopted a 11 beautiful Springer Spaniel named Rose who will bring much joy and love to our family.

This is the best news I could hear. My cat came from Hooterville, which was the first incarnation of Homeward Pet. Make sure you take your dog to the Third Thursday Wine Walk Series on September 16th. It’s Bottles and Dogs theme with a portion of sales donated to Homeward Pet.
