As a more practical matter of how to have our winning WBC or Bust Wine Bloggers taste through quite a few of our wonderful Woodinville wines we had them come to Willows Lodge. It was one of our first nice days this year so we ended up on the patio outside the Fireside Cellars. A big thanks to: Betz Family Winery, William Church Winery, Northwest Totem Cellars, Hollywood Hill Vineyards, Brian Carter Cellars, Cuillin Hills, Baer Winery, DeLille Cellars, DiStefano Winery, Sparkman Cellars, DesVoigne Cellars, Barrage Cellars, and Novelty Hill/Januik Winery.
After tasting through these wines we moved over to the Barking Frog where we had lunch. Jay Soloff from DeLille Cellars was pouring his wines for us during lunch. We started off with Chef Bobby Moore’s Grand Marnier Prawns and a choice of Seared Sea Scallops or Roasted Chicken with a sinfully delicious Dark Chocolate Coffee Ganache for dessert. It was beautiful sunny day to sit out on the patio for lunch and get to know the wine bloggers and have them learn about Woodinville.
