Iron Vintner Challenge: Winemakers & Knives?

Here’s a chance to see some of our local winemakers out of their element the Iron Vintner Challenge at Willows Lodge. They will be in the kitchen instead of the winery. There are two preliminary rounds with the first on June 2nd with Mark McNeilly of Mark Ryan Winery vs. Brennon Leighton of Efeste. Round two is on June 9th with Tim Stevens of Stevens Winery vs. Darby English of Darby Winery. Chef Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog will be in charge of the secret box of ingredients from which they will have to create and appetizer and an entree in 60 minutes. The Championship round will be June 16th to see who will be crowned the Iron Vintner. There will also be a Championship Winemaker dinner on June 23rd in the Barking Frog that will feature all four of the winemakers. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Woodinville.
