I have to give credit to Sean Sullivan of Washington Wine Report for spotting this “Inherent Risks of Agritourism Activity” sign. These are required at all Virginia wineries by the state. It was decided that you if you are maimed or killed while out wine tasting you or your loved ones have no recourse since you participated in a dangerous activity. There is the possibility that you could be run over by a cow, horse, tractor, or you may have been behaving in a negligent manner. I think that if you can’t say “Inherent Risks of Agritourism Activity” that the winery has the right to refuse to serve you.
