Elevated from Cult to Saint: Gorman?

chrisangelDuring my foray out into St. Nick’s on Saturday I stopped by Gorman Winery. I managed to sneak into the back where Chris was pouring a few other wines. I think that the Evil Twin is my favorite Gorman wine. I love Red Mountain wine and his Cab Syrah blend is the best. He was also tasting the 07 Albatross; a Cab & Petit Verdot blend and I was very impressed with the flavor. The 07 Bully was also being poured, it’s getting better as it sits in the bottle. The Albatross and Bully will be released in March. Chris did mention he was working on a Late Harvest Chenin Blanc to release in the spring. Did anyone notice a halo in the picture? Perhaps Chris is getting approval from higher up than Robert Parker?
