I attended a luncheon Taste and Tweet on Thursday at the Beach House Grill. It’s located on Lake Washington Blvd in Kirkland. It has an incredible view of Lake Washington and many will remember this building as The Foghorn. They are under new ownership and have been open about six months. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of champagne which is the international sign for welcome! We tasted through Wild Spicy Prawns, Tenderloin Skewers, Crab Cakes, Beachhouse Burger, Beer Battered Halibut Tacos, Berry martini, and Smores. I really liked the Wild Spicy Prawns but my very favorite was the Smores. Who would have thought of smores done tableside? It was a great experience and I will return for the Smores and some of the other dishes. Their Happy Hour is 3-6pm and 9-close.
@JohnnyKelso had his very first Smore at out Taste and Tweet and I have the picture! Apparently he had a deprived childhood. Even the Boy Scouts failed to introduce him to the delights of Smores. You can follow me @Shona425 on Twitter.
