I was invited to attend the Grand Opening at Bin on the Lake in Kirkland Thursday. It was a not to be missed event. The place was packed. One of my favorite features is that there are 80 wines available by the glass in 1, 3, and 6 ounce pours. I love the idea that I can get a taste of Leonetti or Silver Oak with cleaning out my wallet. About 13 or 14 of these by the glass choices are bubbles. You can also choose your own flights as well as one’s suggested by Bin on the Lake. The wine list has many Northwest, Washington, and Woodinville wine choices.
Chef Scott Lents has some delicious items on the bar menu. I did get to taste Warm Goat Cheese Dip, Lamb Spring Rolls, botl Fritters, and Prawns & Peppernata. I have a certain fondness for lamb and thought the Lamb Spring Rolls were delicious. I also enjoyed the botl Fritters and the Warm Goat Cheese dip. The bar menu is 50% off during Happy Hours which are 4-6pm and 9-close daily. They also have drinks specials on Happy Hour.
