I was invited to attend a VIP pre-opening of The Bravern early Saturday morning. I made the rounds of Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Neiman Marcus, Artisnal, Sur La Table, David Barton Gym, and The Red Door Spa amongst others. My favorite stop was at John Howie Steak where I looked over the wine list to see what kind of wines were listed. I also got a chance, in a quiet moment, to do a short video interview with John about how our NorthWest wines pair so well with red meat.
John Howie Steak also offers private wine lockers that are temperature controlled. My favorite feature is the enomatic system that allows wine to be kept for up to 28 days with argon gas that preserves the flavors. This allows them to offer higer end bottles such as Leonetti by the glass. I already have plans to go back and have a glass with a friend I bumped into at John Howie Steak.
