I went to the Champagne and Bubbles tasting at Village Wines on Saturday. It gave you the opportunity to taste through 15 different champagnes and sparkling wines. The bottle prices ranged from$17 to $100 and they were from France, Spain, Italy, and Oregon. Several of the sparklers were rose’. It took me about two hours to taste through all of them as I wanted to enjoy each taste and the place was very busy the entire time I was there. A few of my favorites were: Billecart Salmon Brut for $45, Duvall Leroy Brut “Cuvee Paris” $42, and Cordoniu Riserva Brut Rose for $18. I don’t believe you need an occasion to pop open some with bubbles; it’s an everyday drink. It’s not too early to start thinking about New Year’s Eve. What will you be drinking?

Just gone through your blog “Champagne & Bubbles: Village Wines” and found it to be wonderful. It was nice going through your blog.

I had fun tasting through 15 bubblies. Such hard work! I like your Hampers site. I’d love to get one of your Hampers. I did get a large box of Jelly Babies. Having Christmas pudding with custard for dessert tonight.
