I also came across Rose’, a Springer Spaniel and a Homeward Pet rescue dog that was adopted from seeing a mention of Homeward Pet on this web site. I made a difference! She is living the good life with Gary and his wife.

The next 3rd Thursday Wine Walk is Halloween at the Warehouse on Thursday, October 21st. Homeward Pet will be the charity that benefits in October also. Bring your dogs again next month and everyone should dress in costume.

Tasting at a Tweet Up is a bit like speed dating; you only get a minute or two before you have to move onto the next wine. I did like most of these wines. I am completely biased to like rose during the summer, when it arrives. Some of the wines that stood out for me were the Brian Carter Abracadabra 2009 Rose, Ramblin Rose 2009 & V.R. Special Cab Sauv 2007 from Dusted Valley Vintners, Page Cellars Rose-eh 2009, Patterson Cellars Chardonnay 2009 (stainless steel), Pomum Cellars Shya Red Blend 2005, Woodinville Wine Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, and William Church Winery Viognier 2009. Oh, by the way, green olives are delicious with the William Church Viognier.
