This is exactly what the big wineries wanted to get the little guy out of Woodinville so they can charge huge prices for wine tasting events. Which are listed for Oct. The Wine walks provided that outlet to reach everyday people to experience all kinds of wines in a fun event. I brought new people to the wine walks all the time and they loved it and bought wine there and continued to buy at their favorite winery. Now that the Wine Walks have ended, you will not get new people interested in a wine event that cost $35 to $65 to participate in a wine tasting. I for one will not go back to Woodinville, or any of my friends that I introduced to many outstanding SMALL wineries there. The Big guys think they won – but they have really lost.

Jackie:

I completely understand that the wine walks were affordable and offered many people an introduction to Woodiville wines. It is sad that they are gone as I was a fan myself. Not everyone wants to go to large overcrowded events either. Woodinville is changing and only time will tell if is for the best. It is no longer an undiscovered gem. I do hope you and your friends will continue to drink Woodinville wines and make sure you get on your favorite wineries email lists and support their releases and events.
